Our Commitment to Quality, and You.
The Brighton Hot Dog Shoppes have a tradition that dates back to 1959. We pride ourselves on the quality products served in our operations. The wieners are restaurant grade made in our own commissary. The French fries and home fries are cut daily from fresh potatoes (Idaho Russet Burbanks when in season). The hot dog sauce, eating chili, and soups are made fresh daily. Our milkshakes are made to order using only real dairy products. Our coffee is the finest grade available and is generally used only by the finest white tablecloth restaurants.
Our fresh products are cooked to order. As a result, your selections may take a few extra moments to prepare. When you order two hot dogs, the buns are taken from the steamer, and two perfectly plump hot dogs are selected from the grill and dressed with your favorite condiments.
Your total satisfaction, along with our value oriented family emphasis, is our promise to you!

Where it all began in 1959 …
The original Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe was opened in New Brighton, PA on November 29, 1959. The shoppe was the realization of a dream come true for two brothers – Victor and Francis Trevelline. Starting their own restaurant business, they began serving all-American hot dogs and French fries to local patrons. The restaurant quickly became a favorite and was a popular stomping ground for all age groups. The brothers continued to operate one location until 1968 when they opened their second shoppe in nearby Beaver Falls, PA. In 1975, the brothers hired Frank Papa to run the day-to-day operations and expand the business to multiple locations. In order to maintain the pledge of selling quality food products, Regis Luger came on board in 1992 to build and operate a commissary in Bridgewater, PA where our hot dogs and other menu items are made fresh daily. Today, the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe operates nine company owned and three licensed locations in Beaver, Lawrence, Butler and Allegheny counties along with one in Eastern Ohio and employs more than 300 team members. Frank's son, Mark, has earned control of the daily operations and carries forward the celebrated tradition of excellence. Thanks to our patrons, our restaurants continue to thrive and grow. Through our commitment to excellence, we have become a legacy in our area and a well-respected member of the community we serve. We invite you to stop by one of our restaurants and sample our menu. Find out why everyone who leaves the area puts the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe at the top of their checklist of things to do when returning for a visit.
